Shiatsu point massage consists of a set of 14 direct jets aimed at shiatsu pressure points in the area of the yang meridians (according to traditional Oriental medicine, meridians are channels through which life energy flows in the body). The basis is the symmetric effect of pressure, in which the energy isdispersed from areas where there is too much of it and supplied to areas where there is not enough of it; the aim of the massage is to balance the right and left sides and to restore the balance, harmony and health of the body.
